Job Opening :: IT Network Technician - $1,000 Hiring Bonus

This position will receive a $1,000 hiring bonus, and starts at $20/hour. 

The IT Network Technician performs identification, installation, pulling, labeling and termination of structured cabling systems, including CAT3, 5, 5E and fiber optic cable. Installs, terminates, and tests data jacks and face plates. Moves-adds-changes of phones and desktop computers. Installation of cabling for card access systems. Install of network and server equipment into racks. Data closets build out.  Data Racks, ladder racking, backboards, etc.

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic.

• Test and trouble shoot cables 

• Use of hand tools.

• Must be able to climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, lift in excess of 50lbs.

• Must work well with little supervision, work individually or in a team environment. 

• Knowledge of setting up and programming Fluke test equipment a plus. 

• Some knowledge of desktop computers a plus.
