The Reservation Agent is to provide efficient and friendly service to all guests who contact the Call Center by making hotel reservations and connecting calls to the correct department.

Duties:

  • Promptly answer the telephone and greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcoming tone using positive and clear communication; listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information.
  • Effectively manage and communicate through email in a timely and organized manner in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Input messages into the computer; set wake-up calls, retrieve messages and communicate the content to the guests.
  • Input room reservations via fax and email.
  • Maintain a high level of attention and accuracy with a focus on detail.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by managing service failures, problem solving and prioritizing guest needs.
  • Be respectful with every guest; their different styles and diverse cultures, building rapport, trust and loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
  • Capable of learning and effectively using a variety of computer applications and software such as LMS, CMS/ACSC, TIX and more.
  • Ability to remain alert in a high volume, ever-changing task environment, follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation, communication and data input.
