The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration equipment.

Duties:

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems following all state and federal regulations.

• Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment.

• Respond promptly to requested thermostat adjustments and the needs of company.

• Assist outside contractors on maintenance and larger installation projects.

• Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and immediately report unsafe conditions and exposure to management.

• Annual completion of Respirator training and fit test.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High school diploma, G.E.D, or trade school equivalent required.

• Three or more years’ experience in air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration.

• EPA 608 certification required.

• Organized, flexible and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.

• Able to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time and be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs.

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
