The Host & Cashier is responsible for creating a smooth and positive guest experience by greeting guests, managing seating and processing payments efficiently.

Duties:

  • Sincerely greets and thanks each guest.
  • Inform guests of hours/days of operation, all coupons and specials.
  • Determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names and quote wait times accurately.
  • Seats guests in the proper order of arrival.
  • Accurate use of the dine-time seating system.
  • Know all table numbers and the various sections of the restaurant.
  • Accurate use of the POS system to close checks using a variety of payment methods.
  • Balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.
  • Completes all side work requirements.
  • Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees.

Qualifications:

  • One or more years’ previous host/cashier experience is preferred.
  • Must be available to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
