The Steward maintains a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties:

  • Engages in ware washing and cleaning of kitchen areas to help facilitate restaurant service
  • Works in conjunction with the Banquet Department in loading, transporting and assisting in major banquet functions.
  • Works with Chefs to ensure a minimum 90% rating by the Washoe County Health Department in all food outlets and bars.
  • Maintains procedures and controls for the kitchens, including safeguards against damage, pilferage, breakage and spoilage.
  • Ensure that all safety standards are followed and reports all unsafe and unsanitary conditions to management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work any shift.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to follow directions and respond with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be able to comprehend Basic English.
