Job Opening :: Steward
The Steward maintains a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Engages in ware washing and cleaning of kitchen areas to help facilitate restaurant service
- Works in conjunction with the Banquet Department in loading, transporting and assisting in major banquet functions.
- Works with Chefs to ensure a minimum 90% rating by the Washoe County Health Department in all food outlets and bars.
- Maintains procedures and controls for the kitchens, including safeguards against damage, pilferage, breakage and spoilage.
- Ensure that all safety standards are followed and reports all unsafe and unsanitary conditions to management.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work any shift.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to follow directions and respond with a sense of urgency.
- Must be able to comprehend Basic English.
