A Spa Salon Hairstylist provides personalized hair care services in a high-end spa environment, combining advanced technical skills with exceptional guest service. Duties:
Deliver exceptional hair care services, including precision cutting, customized coloring, styling, treatments, and special occasion hair design, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
Provide personalized consultations to assess clients' hair goals, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences, creating tailored service and home-care recommendations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through outstanding customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail, ensuring a memorable luxury salon experience.
Educate guests on professional hair care products, styling techniques, and ongoing maintenance programs to support healthy hair and enhance results between visits.
Stay current with emerging beauty trends, advanced coloring techniques, product knowledge, and industry innovations through continuing education and training.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workstation that reflects the spa salon's luxury brand standards and sanitation requirements.
Collaborate with spa and salon team members to provide a seamless guest experience and support cross-service referrals.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently while ensuring punctuality, service excellence, and attention to each guest's individual needs, while also being aware of other appointments guests may have.
Follow all state board regulations, safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and spa policies to ensure a safe and professional environment.
Participate in salon events, marketing initiatives, and client retention programs to help grow and maintain a loyal clientele.
Create a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere that aligns with the spa's commitment to luxury, wellness, and exceptional guest care.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid Nevada State Board of Cosmetology License.
Able to acquire Alcohol Awareness Card.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a luxury spa, resort, hotel, salon, or other high-touch hospitality environment, with a strong commitment to exceptional guest service and attention to detail.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a licensed professional hairstylist, demonstrating advanced proficiency in:
Precision haircutting and styling
Formal event, special occasion, and bridal hairstyling
Hair color services, including highlights, balayage, blonding, and corrective color
Texture services, including permanent waves and curl enhancement treatments
Professional smoothing and straightening treatments
Ability to conduct thorough consultations and build meaningful guest relationships, collaborating with each guest to understand their individual goals, lifestyle, and preferences while delivering personalized recommendations and exceptional results.
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to remain on schedule while delivering meticulous, high-quality services without compromising the guest experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, and professional presence that reflects the standards of a luxury resort and spa environment.
Passion for ongoing education and industry trends, including advanced cutting, color, styling, and treatment techniques, as well as emerging luxury beauty and wellness trends.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary spa and salon team, contributing to an environment focused on guest satisfaction, service excellence, and operational success.
Established portfolio demonstrating bridal, special event, editorial, and advanced color work.
Retail sales experience with multiple haircare brands and the ability to confidently recommend products that support guests' beauty goals.
Experience serving a diverse clientele with varying hair types, textures, and styling needs. As a hotel resort, clients come from all over.
