The Cooks Helper is responsible for food preparation, cleaning, and basic cooking tasks in the kitchen for the daily production of their outlet.

Duties:

  • Prepares high quality and consistent food products for his/her assigned outlet.
  • Works in close conjunction with Room Chef and Master Cooks to maintain proper par stocks, inventory control, and quality of purchased goods.
  • Checks the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and immediately reports any damaged or broken equipment to management.
  • Follows all sanitation procedures as set by the company, maintaining the highest degree of cleanliness and organization within their outlet.
  • Ensures all safety standards are followed and reports on all unsafe conditions to management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or culinary apprenticeship preferred.
  • Background specialized in quality cuisine is preferred.
  • Previous work experience as a Kitchen Helper or a similar role in the food industry.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Basic food preparation and handling skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
