Job Opening :: Cooks Helper
The Cooks Helper is responsible for food preparation, cleaning, and basic cooking tasks in the kitchen for the daily production of their outlet.
Duties:
- Prepares high quality and consistent food products for his/her assigned outlet.
- Works in close conjunction with Room Chef and Master Cooks to maintain proper par stocks, inventory control, and quality of purchased goods.
- Checks the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and immediately reports any damaged or broken equipment to management.
- Follows all sanitation procedures as set by the company, maintaining the highest degree of cleanliness and organization within their outlet.
- Ensures all safety standards are followed and reports on all unsafe conditions to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or culinary apprenticeship preferred.
- Background specialized in quality cuisine is preferred.
- Previous work experience as a Kitchen Helper or a similar role in the food industry.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Basic food preparation and handling skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
