Job Opening :: Banquet Food Server (On Call)
The Banquet Food Server is responsible for serving guests food and beverages in a positive and timely manner, while collaborating with staff to ensure a smooth event.
Duties:
- Provide friendly and accurate service throughout the event.
- Inspect the banquet rooms prior to events to ensure they align with the banquet event order.
- Assist Captains in getting the room count to the Banquet kitchen.
- Maintain knowledge of Peppermill amenities, particularly with public space facilities.
- Ensure Banquet rooms and storage areas are kept clean and organized.
- Report low supply inventories to management.
- Report any maintenance, cleaning and repair needs to management.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Two or more years of food serving experience.
- Knowledgeable of food, wine and fine dining etiquette.
- Must be able to service a buffet food line to ensure the highest quality of food is maintained.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-pasted environment.
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
