Job Opening :: Front Desk Supervisor
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for managing front desk activities and supervising personnel. Ensures outstanding guest experiences and optimizes hotel revenue.
Duties:
- Understand guest and employee needs and handle all situations calmly and professionally.
- Partner with other departments to meet guest expectations and special requests (reservations, bell desk, housekeeping, information desk, concierge).
- Supervise, evaluate, coach, counsel and provide situational retraining of Front Desk staff.
- Evaluate same day selling strategies.
- Maintain and manage daily inventory.
- Execute all shift reports.
- Maximize revenue by promoting suite upgrades and maintaining rate integrity.
- Maintain a ticket bank and keep proper inventory of all tickets and logs.
- Assist with the check-in line as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of one-year Front Desk experience, preferably in a resort setting.
- Two or more years of customer service required.
- Able to effectively communicate with entire staff.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
